What types of work do you have?

Dove and Hawk specialise in the property industry. We know our market place. We know what our Clients want and what are candidates look for.

Do I need experience in the industry to apply for roles in property?
Not all of our clients are looking for expereinced staff. Some will consider trainees and graduates looking to join an agency at grass routes level. If this is you then feel free to contact us and we can discuss whether the property industry is an option for you.

What information should I include in my CV?

How quickly can you find me work?
Depending on how quickly you are looking for work and what you are looking for will determine how quickly you can expect to find a position that’s right for you. However we estimate that the process should take between 1 and 2 weeks depending on your requirements.

How much does your service cost?
If you are a candidate looking for a position then our service will cost nothing. Our fees will not affect the salary you are offered by a potential employee.

What do you do differently?

Dove and Hawk is a proactive employment agency that specialise in the property industry.

  • For Candidates - We proactively work them in the marketplace. Quite simply that means if we do not have the job you are looking for on our books then we will actively contact companies in your required area in order to find the job the fits you best. We do not sit and wait for vacancies to come in, we go out in the market place to find them.
  • For Clients - We proactively headhunt on vacancies in order to create the best candidate pool possible. The best candidates are not sitting at home registering on job boards, they’re out in the market place doing the job at the moment making money for your competitors and most are waiting for the right opportunity to come along. It’s these people that we are talking to on a daily basis.

Dove & Hawk are full members of the REC. We are an ethical agency and belive that all things should be done properly, efficiently and by the book. This is why we feel it is important to be constantly up to date with recruitment industry regulation and why we’re extremely proud to be part of the REC. What companies do you work with?
We at Dove and Hawk are always looking to work with the best companies in the market place and are constantly re-evaluating the companies we offer our services to. We ourselves are and ethical and professional team and want to work with like minded organisations. Through this we are able to offer our candidates the chance to work with household names, award winning agencies and prestigious brands. We want to work with the companies that you want to work for.

Why should I use a recruitment agency?

  • Why not go direct to a company for employment? – Most companies have an HR department and an HR proceedure. Going in without knowledge on these procedures can be time consuming and sometimes ineffective. At Dove & Hawk we deal with decision makers in order to make sure that you do not waste time dealing with the wrong people, in order to speed up the recruitment process. We have long standing relationships with most of our clients and because of our honest approach to recruitment most are happy to see those that we recommend for interview whose CV’s may not make it through the first stage of a recruitment process (we fight your corner).
  • Why not advertise directly to fill your vacancy? – Quality candidates are not desperately looking for work they are out in the market place producing good figures for your competitors and do not have time to apply directly to roles when they are looking for work (they’re too busy making money). We’re in contact with those candidates. No matter how many restrictions and requirements you put on your advertisement you will always find people that are not right for the position will apply. With Dove & Hawk we LISTEN to what you are looking for and only put forward those who will be right for the role. You may not get hundreds of CVs from us (let’s face it hundreds won’t be right for the role) but I can guarantee that the ones you do get will fit your job description.
