Lettings Administrator
My client, a small independent agency specialising in residential lettings, are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team.
This role requires an individual with strong organisational skills and previous experience within a similar position.
Your duties will include:
- Support the lettings and property management team in daily tasks
- Processing debits, credits, receipts and creating monthly statements
- Manage rent, invoice arrears and contact/chase the debtors
- Send confirmation of offers to landlord and tenant
- Draft tenancy agreements and send for approval / signature
- Arrange gas safety, EPC, Inventory, Clean and any tenant requirements
- Apply for and check tenant references
- Manage all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin etc)
- Register tenant's deposits
- Effectively manage live database of Tenancies
- Contact all tenants to enquire whether they wish to renew or extend tenancies
- Negotiate rent increase if needed
- Prepare renewal agreements
- Extend Deposits and provide certificates
- Utilise social media and Mass Mailing tools in order to advertise industry news and available properties
- Chase renewal invoices where required
- Arrange check ins, check outs and arrange Inventory
- Organise return of deposits and manage disputes where necessary
Skills and experience required
- Minimum 1 year Lettings administration or Property Management experience within a Letting Agency (Essential)
- Experience using Vebra Alto Software (Essential)
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and personable
- Confident communication skills - both written and spoken
- Able to utilise social media and mass mailing tools
- Well organised and able to work on own initiative
- Works well in the team and offers input on improvements to systems
Salary: £22,000-£26,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
