Property Manager (City of London)

Our client is a leading partner for property investors and overseas landlords. With offices across Europe and Asia, they have a global presence and expertise within the residential property market.

They are currently recruiting for a Property Manager to join them at their City of London office. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring, ambitious and motivated individual to hold responsibility for a portfolio of residential properties.

Main responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of 125 properties
• Follow-up and respond to all customer queries in a timely manner
• Build relationships with all tenants, landlords and contractors
• Minimise void periods by monitoring expiring tenancies and negotiate tenancy renewals
• Constantly monitor and curtail rental arrears
• Tenant referencing and producing statement of accounts
• Producing AST agreements
• Organising check-in and check-out inventory inspections
• Booking property inspections and producing landlord reports
• Understanding rental statements and identifying discrepancies
• Logging deposits with the DPS scheme and handling claims
• Organising repair quotes and works as necessary, including new-build defect issues

Requirements

• 12 months of property management experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong I.T. skills
• High levels of accuracy and attention-to-detail
• Superb time management
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise
• An enthusiastic and positive outlook
• ARLA qualified (preferred, not essential)

Hours: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday
Package: £28,000 - £29,500 + £2500 OTE
