Job Description

Tenancy Progression Coordinator - Stratford - £28,000 to £30,000 Dependant on Experience

My client, a successful and renowned Housing Association, are actively seeking an experienced Tenancy Progression Coordinator to join their team in Stratford.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious new team where you will progress and coordinate tenancy applications for over 2000 homes with ambitions to have over 5,000 new build homes in the next 3 years; expanding greatly to become one of the largest rental portfolios in the capital.

Prior Lettings Administration/Property Management experience is required.

Duties:

  • Handle new tenancies from the point of reservation until move in
  • Ensure regular communication with tenants as well as internal stakeholders such as Lettings Negotiators and Property Management
  • Increase customer satisfaction levels through effective management of the move in process for each customer
  • Meet customers at their new homes where required to ensure a positive customer journey
  • Manage the tenancy referencing process ensuring all outstanding references are regularly chased in a timely manner
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries by telephone and emails. Acting as the point of contact for customers during the referencing and pre-tenancy process
  • Drafting and issuing tenancy documentation and taking up front payments relating to the tenancy as well as setting up Direct Debits for ongoing rental payments
  • Ensure the system is kept up to date with the status of each file and each deal is checked against the internal process prior to key release
  • Ensure compliance and areas controlled in respect of governance and adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory provisions

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in Lettings Administration/Property Management position
  • Strong administrative and communication skills gained within a similar public facing, commercial environment such as a Letting agency or Build to Rent provider
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload and multitask
  • Able to work to strict deadlines, even during busy period
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word

Package:

  • £28,000 to £30,000 Dependant on Experience
